𝟮. 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘇𝗶𝗽 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲.
Save it somewhere you won’t lose it... not your desktop chaos, genius.
𝟯. 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿.
Log into cPanel or FTP (FileZilla’s free don’t play caveman with thumb drives).
𝟰. 𝗨𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁.
Unzip it, drag to your site’s root or /scripts folder.
Takes 2 minutes unless you’re napping.
𝟱. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲.
In cPanel, hit MySQL Databases, make one, name it something you’ll remember.
𝟲. 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.
Files to 644, folders to 755 via cPanel or FTP.
Google chmod if you’re lost.
𝘿𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙪𝙥, 𝙞𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙥𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨.
𝟳. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿.
Open yoursite.com/install in a browser or readme.txt will point you if it’s weird.
𝟴. 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽.
Enter database name, user, password (from step 5).
Follow prompts and 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙞𝙩.
𝟵. 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁.
Click around... live form sending?
Analytics tracking?
No errors? You’re golden.

Change admin password, delete install.php and don’t leave doors open for digital creeps.
